Role: Material Handler
Role Requirements:
To accurately move and record material within the plant and to ensure that material is moved to the next operation in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Ensure NIL’s are kept within 2% of total movements and no down time at machines due to handling related problems.
- Perpetual Stock Checking Program: Perform the ABC perpetual count program as per audit requirements and maintain a financial accuracy of 98%.
- Health and Safety: Ensure no accidents are recorded in the working area and maintain favorable results from any quality walks performed.
- General Housekeeping: Ensure equipment and working area are kept clean and tidy.
Competencies:
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptability to reflect business needs.
- Ability to work within a team and to predetermined targets and timetable.
- Ability and willingness to work with others to provide a secure working environment.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Side loader, Forklift, and Overhead crane licenses.
- Health and safety awareness.
