Job Description
Material Handler II Location: Heysham Salary: £12.65 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly, Week 1: 08:00 - 16:00 Week 2: 09:30 - 17:30 We're looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Heysham. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders (both UK and Export), maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring health & safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
Pick and pack shipments accurately following pick lists and shipping guidelines
Label and prepare items for UK and export in line with transport regulations
Load shipments and complete all required paperwork
Use third-party systems (e.g. couriers, MSDS)
Keep stock levels of consumables replenished
Operate warehouse equipment (after training) and report faults
Maintain records and comply with security and safety policies
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesRequirements:
Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
Attention to detail and focus on quality
Forklift license (beneficial but not essential)
Willingness to follow processes and maintain high safety standards
Must be eligible to work in the UKWhat We Offer:
