Material Resource Planner
Golborne Location (WA3 3JD)
Monday to Friday (7am – 4pm)
Salary: £40,520 p.a. + Bonus

At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.

Main purpose of Material Resource Planner:

To assist the effective control, stocks and supply of raw materials to the Golborne site.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  * To ensure that all material figures are checked and entered into the relevant systems.

  * Coordinate material deliveries.

  * Produce detailed stock and consumption figures for all materials on a monthly basis

  * Procurement of all necessary materials without excessive stock holding including monthly forecasts

  * Completion of month end and year end reconciliation reports.

  * Fulfilment of sample requests, maintaining sample stocks and/or requesting stock from production or quality as needed

  * Liaise with corporate head office and other European sites

  * Auditing on behalf of quality team

  * General administrative duties

Experience / Education

  * Experience of managing raw materials

  * Proficient user of MS Office

  * Positive, flexible and collaborative approach to work

  * Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with all stakeholders

  * Skilled at prioritising, multi-tasking and coordinating
