Role Overview
We’re seeking a Material Buyer who will play a crucial role in maintaining there hallmark quality while optimising cost and logistics.
What You’ll Do:
* Source, negotiate, and procure materials required for prime residential projects
* Develop and sustain strong supplier relationships, ensuring reliability, quality, and value
* Coordinate with the pre-construction, commercial, site, and procurement teams
* Monitor stock levels, delivery schedules, and manage documentation (orders, invoices, contracts)
* Track market trends, conduct spend analysis, and pursue cost optimisation initiatives
* Uphold company values of craftsmanship, accountability, and collaboration in every transaction
What We’re Looking For
* Several years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within construction, high-end residential, or allied sectors
* Solid negotiation skills and supplier-management expertise
* Strong organisational, analytical, and communication capabilities
* Proficiency with ERP or procurement software (advantageous)
* A proactive, collaborative mindset aligned with company values of quality, accountability, and innovation
* Bonus: knowledge in sustainable materials or ‘Think Green’ building approaches
