New Opportunity — Materials Planner | West Lothian
I’m supporting a manufacturing business in West Lothian who are looking to add a talented Materials Planner to their Supply Chain team. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and love keeping everything flowing smoothly between suppliers, production, and logistics then this could be a great role for you.
In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of operations, making sure materials arrive on time, inventory stays balanced, and production schedules run like clockwork. You’ll collaborate across planning, procurement, logistics, and NPI/NPD teams, becoming a key player in keeping the whole supply chain moving.
💡 What you’ll be involved in:

Managing purchase orders & supplier communication
*
Forecasting, planning, and coordinating materials for production
*
Supporting reworks, conversions, and NPI/NPD transitions
*
Working hand-in-hand with logistics & production planning
*
Monitoring and optimising inventory across multiple locations
*
Using data to improve accuracy, efficiency, and supply chain performance
🎯 What we’re looking for:

3–5 years’ experience in materials planning, inventory, or supply chain
*
Strong ERP knowledge
*
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
*
Someone proactive, organised, and eager to make an impact
