Materials Planner - Monday to Friday days role (with options for flexible start and finish times)

Materials Planner - Role and Responsibilities - Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering
- Planning/scheduling orders for materials in time for successful production
- Ensuring all orders are planned to guarantee materials are in the right place at the right time
- Monitoring deliveries, capturing shortfalls and reporting any discrepancies to the supplier and relevant teams within the business
- Building relationships with suppliers to be able to work through and resolve issues
- Liaising with Production and Operations teams to ensure information is shared accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitoring non-conformances to ensure non-conforming materials do not affect supply chain performance
Materials Planner - Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required - Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering
- Strong experience of planning and scheduling
- Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office based programmes
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously, with strong administration skills and the ability to react to and deal with short notice situations
- Good communication skills (verbal, written and reporting) and problem solving abilities
- Experience of ERP systems advantageous but not essential
