Job Description
This automotive first tier manufacturer is looking to attract into their operations team a Materials Scheduler who will proactively manage customer orders to ensure they are received on time and in full.
Typical responsibilities within the key role of Materials Scheduler will be to: -
Produce the weekly materials schedules in line with factory capabilities, lead times and customer demand.
Closely monitor incoming customer schedules, reporting on demand movements.
Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring customers are kept up to date on order progress.
Liaise with production, sales and purchasing re any issues/changes to customer supply and demand.
Maintain system information to ensure accurate stock data and material availability.The successful candidate will: -
Have a logical approach.
Be experienced in supply chain operations.
Be a strong communicator.
Have worked within a manufacturing operation.On offer: -
A salary to £35,000
