Aspire People is working with a well-regarded primary school in Milton Keynes seeking a passionate and committed Class Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave starting in September 2025. About the Role
As a Maternity Cover Class Teacher, you will:
* Take responsibility for a class within Key Stage 1 or 2 (specific year group based on your experience and preference will be taken into consideration)
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel supported and motivated to achieve
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to ensure continuity of learning
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, maintaining high expectations for all
* Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
* A qualified teacher with QTS and recent experience in primary education
* Skilled in delivering the national curriculum in a creative and engaging way
* Flexible, proactive, and able to quickly establish strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
* A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
* Confident in managing a range of learning needs and classroom behaviours
* Committed to delivering high standards of teaching throughout the maternity cover period
