Rate: £130 - £204 per day
Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated A Level Maths Lecturer for a Sixth Form College in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact on the academic journey of ambitious students.
This is a full time temporary role to start 1st September for 4 weeks initially.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (Tuesday until 5pm for staff meeting)
The Role
As an A Level Maths Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the A Level Maths curriculum (and potentially Further Maths, depending on experience).
- Inspire students to achieve their full academic potential.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and assessment.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and college-wide initiatives.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and talented NQTs/ECTs. You will need:
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices.
Candidates must have a current DBS, if you do not have one Eden Brown can get one on your behalf.
