Maths Academic Coach £112 – £117 per day Temp to Perm – September 2025 start ‘Good’ secondary school, Central Birmingham Pathway to salaried teacher training (QTS)   Want to become a maths teacher without racking up tuition fees? You’ll join as a Maths Academic Coach, support pupils through their GCSEs, and—if you impress—move onto a salaried teacher training programme.   The Role You’ll support KS3 and KS4 pupils in maths, helping to boost their confidence, understanding, and exam results. Your week will be split between: Running small group and 1:1 sessions for pupils who need extra help Assisting in maths lessons, reinforcing the teacher’s delivery Breaking down topics like algebra, geometry, and data handling in a way that clicks Tracking pupil progress and identifying learning gaps Helping prepare pupils for mock exams and final assessments  The school has a tried-and-tested structure in place for graduates: they’ll train you up, support you with in-class development, and—if it’s the right fit—move you onto their in-house teacher training programme. That means QTS, a full-time salary, and no uni fees.   The Candidate You’ll need a maths-related degree (Maths, Engineering, Physics, Economics etc.) and a genuine interest in teaching.
