Maths and English Tutor – Trafford (M16)
Looking to step away from the traditional classroom while still making a real difference?
We’re currently looking for dedicated tutors to support children and young people across the Trafford area who are not currently in mainstream education. This is a unique opportunity to work on a one-to-one basis, offering personalised support in subjects such as English and Maths– depending on your strengths.
Pupils may be out of school for various reasons – from anxiety and medical needs to SEN or short-term exclusions. As a tutor, you’ll play an essential role in helping them stay on track with their education and build confidence in a safe, tailored learning environment.
Tuition usually takes place in the pupil’s home or a quiet, public setting such as a local library. Sessions run during the school day, and you’ll have the flexibility to take on as much or as little as you like.
What we offer:
£25–£30 per hour, paid weekly
Flexible hours between 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday
One-to-one work with pupils aged 5–16 (typically working at their own pace and level)
A chance to truly impact a child’s progress and wellbeing
Support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement
