GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths and ICT Tutor to support a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who benefit from tailored support and alternative learning approaches.
As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging and personalised Maths and ICT sessions to small groups or individual students, helping them build confidence and achieve academic progress. This role is ideal for experienced tutors, graduates, or individuals with a strong background in education and a desire to support young people.
Key Responsibilities of Maths and ICT Tutor
Deliver focused Maths and ICT lessons adapted to individual learning needs.
Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent support and development.
Assist in planning and preparing learning materials.
Requirements for Maths and ICT Tutor
Previous tutoring or teaching experience in Maths and ICT.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching styles.
Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to education.
No QTS required, but relevant experience and qualifications are advantageous.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
