Are you a passionate Maths Instructor looking to inspire students in Hull?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Instructor to join schools across the local area. This role is perfect for someone who can make mathematics engaging, encourage problem-solving, and support students to reach their full potential.
As a Mathematics Instructor, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the Maths curriculum. You will support students to develop numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while fostering confidence in their learning. Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting pupils’ academic progress will be central to this role.
Key Responsibilities of a Maths Instructor:
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national Maths curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare and maintain teaching resources and materials.
Encourage student engagement and participation in Maths activities.
Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to enhance learning.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with homework, interventions, and revision sessions.
Participate in professional development to stay updated with curriculum changes.
Maths Instructor Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK school setting.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and key stage requirements.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
Passion for teaching and supporting student achievement.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
