A leading Sixth Form College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team, supporting students in Maths and Science courses. The Role

Work closely with subject teachers to support learners in lessons.

Provide tailored academic assistance in Maths and Science.

Encourage and motivate students to develop their confidence and study skills.

Support learners with additional needs to access the curriculum.

Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Candidate
*
A degree (or currently studying towards) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for education.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
A patient, supportive, and encouraging approach to working with young people.
*
Previous experience in a classroom or mentoring role is desirable, but not essential.
