Contract: 0.5 Part-Time (Maternity Cover)
Key Stages: KS3-KS4

A Good secondary school in Darlington is seeking a dedicated and inspirational part-time Maths Teacher (0.5) to join their team from January as part of a maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on student progress across KS3 and KS4 while enjoying a balanced timetable in a supportive school environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, well-planned Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Teach a range of topics across KS3-KS4, maintaining high expectations for all learners.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages confidence and achievement.
* Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of varied learners.
* Assess and track student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback.
* Support students in preparing for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.
* Contribute to departmental planning and continuous improvement.
* Participate in relevant enrichment or intervention sessions where appropriate.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Maths at KS3-KS4.
* Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
* A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success.
