Teacher of Maths (TLR available) Location: Birmingham Start date: January 2026 or sooner for the right candidate Contract: Full-time | Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (ECTs welcome) + TLR2C for the right candidate Equations, problem-solving, real-world maths if you love it all, this might be your kind of school. About the Role The school is seeking a skilled and committed maths teacher who can: Deliver engaging, high-quality maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 Stretch learners across all abilities and build confidence in core skills Contribute to a no-excuses culture with high expectations for all Support curriculum development and department goals (If applicable) Take on a leadership role with a TLR2C, depending on experience About You We’re looking for someone who: Is a confident classroom practitioner with a good understanding of how students learn Has strong, current subject knowledge in maths Brings creativity, energy, and clarity to their teaching Is committed to improving outcomes and working collaboratively What You’ll Get Excellent CPD and career development opportunities A well-organised department and collaborative team culture A comprehensive wellbeing package including: 24/7 online GP access Physiotherapy and counselling services Annual health checks (including BMI and flu jab) Teachers’ Pension All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
