Maths Teacher – Stockport
Location: Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing (initially until Easter)
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Are you a passionate and committed Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and high-performing secondary school?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Stockport, seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher to start as soon as possible.
This is a full-time position teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential KS5 depending on experience.
The role is initially until Easter, with the possibility of extension or a permanent role for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Be confident delivering Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 a bonus)
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
Be committed to raising standards and promoting a positive learning environment
Have strong classroom management skills and a proactive attitude
