About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a qualified and passionate Maths Teacher to work in mainstream secondary schools across Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain flexible or long-term teaching experience.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Contribute to the wider school community where required
Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Specialism in Mathematics
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for Maths and student development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
