Mathematics Teacher
Location: Hastings, East Sussex
Pay: £160 - £245 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 16:00
Contract Type: Long-Term (with the potential for a permanent position)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join a secondary school located near Seaford, East Sussex. The position is available for an immediate start or from September 2025, and offers a long-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities - As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere where all students can excel
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum to ensure student progress
Track and monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback to aid their development
Collaborate with the Mathematics department and the wider school community to maintain high teaching standards
The Ideal Candidate - To be considered for this role, you will:
Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills with high expectations of students
Be passionate about raising student attainment and helping them develop a love for mathematics
Be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check (if not already held)
