Job Description
Are you a passionate and reflective Maths Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of mathematicians? A highly regarded secondary school in Derby is seeking a talented individual to join their thriving Maths department. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025, with the potential for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate.
The Role – Maths Teacher
You will teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering dynamic and challenging lessons that encourage curiosity, build confidence, and foster a love for learning. The role is suited to either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner ready to contribute to departmental development and student success.

A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or PGCE)

A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

Ability to teach GCSE and A-Level Maths confidently
