Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Westminster – September Start
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Bromley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher—whether experienced or newly qualified—to join a supportive and well-resourced department focused on delivering outstanding maths education.
Location: Westminster
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary or Permament
Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role:
Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities
Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, resilience, and achievement in mathematics
Track and assess pupil progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods
Work closely with the Maths department and wider staff team to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development
Take part in school life, including meetings, CPD, and extra-curricular enrichment activities
Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
Brings excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and lesson planning skills
Demonstrates a passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through their induction year
