About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced teacher to inspire and challenge students in a supportive and ambitious learning environment.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. You will join a dedicated team of educators working collaboratively to raise attainment and foster a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, preparing students for GCSE Maths.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.

Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that supports all learners.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and department resources.

Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities and interventions.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
Relevant experience teaching Maths in a mainstream secondary school.
*
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements.
*
Proven ability to engage and inspire students across a range of abilities.
*
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
*
Committed to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
Desirable:
*
Experience teaching high-achieving and SEN students within mixed-ability classrooms.
*
Willingness to support or lead Maths-related enrichment activities or clubs.
Salary:
This post is offered on the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (Inner London), commensurate with experience.
