Job Description
Plan and deliver lessons across topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus (depending on year group and curriculum).
Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying levels of student ability.
Assess and monitor progress through homework, quizzes, tests, and classwork.
Prepare students for exams, such as GCSEs or A-levels.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, attend meetings, and participate in professional development.
A degree in mathematics or a related field.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or another route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent credentials in other countries.
A strong grasp of pedagogy, subject knowledge, and classroom management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
