Job Description
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their dynamic and successful department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The specific subject combination will likely include Maths and Geography, but could potentially involve other Maths subjects depending on expertise.
Responsibilities:
The successful Maths Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across multiple Maths subjects. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning about the human world. Developing students' understanding of key concepts, fostering research and analysis skills, assessing progress, and providing constructive feedback are core parts of this Maths Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree (e.g., Maths, Geography, Religious Studies). Proven experience teaching Maths subjects at the secondary level is essential.
