Experienced Maths Teacher – Full Time – Long Term – East Birmingham Location: Birmingham Start Date: Immediate or negotiable Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) Essential Requirement: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected secondary school located on the East side of Birmingham, who are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their successful Maths department on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator with strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue for the foreseeable future, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum Work collaboratively with the department to drive student attainment and achievement Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Monitor and track student progress, providing interventions where necessary The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Maths at secondary level Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning Commitment to contributing to the wider school community and departmental improvement This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a thriving school with a commitment to excellence in Maths education.
