Are you an experienced Maths teacher looking to make an impact on the industry? Look no further, Academics are on the lookout for a talented Maths teacher for one of our highly regarded secondary schools based in North Leeds. The position is to start in April 2025 and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential of obtaining a direct contract from September 2025.
The school have been rated "good" in their most recent Ofsted report and have been praised for having knowledgeable teachers who use a range of methods to deliver the curriculum. Staff also feel that leaders support them well and they have a manageable work load.
About the Maths Teacher role:
Your role as a Maths teacher will involve displaying high levels of knowledge and assisting with the development of students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 where you will be working alongside other professionals in the Maths department and sharing ideas to help further develop the curriculum.
For the Maths teacher role, you must have the following:
- High levels of organisation, especially when it comes to planning lessons and activities
- Have a wide range of experience as a Maths teacher, with the ability to teach Maths up to Key Stage 4 level.
- Must have qualified teacher status (QTS)
- A degree in Mathematics
- Right to work in the UK
