Location: Kensington & Chelsea
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Head of Maths to lead a vibrant faculty at a prestigious secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea. This significant leadership role requires a strategic vision to enhance curriculum provision, inspire high-quality teaching, and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills across all key stages.
The Role
The Head of Maths will:
* Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the Mathematics department.
* Oversee curriculum development, assessment, and teaching and learning across KS3-5.
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated Maths teachers.
* Promote mathematical reasoning and problem-solving across the school.
* Manage resources and contribute to whole-school academic strategy.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an exceptional Maths teacher with QTS/QTLS and proven leadership experience who:
* Possesses a strong academic background in Mathematics and a passion for the subject.
* Demonstrates inspiring leadership, strong management skills, and a collaborative approach.
