Maths Teacher Location: Hull Salary: M1 – UPS3 per annum (Depending on Experience) Start Date: September 2025 or January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time Are you a passionate and skilled Mathematics educator with a desire to inspire the next generation of learners? GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for both early-career and experienced teachers who are eager to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. As a Teacher of Maths, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage student curiosity and problem-solving. You will work within a supportive department to raise attainment, inspire a love for mathematics, and prepare students for exam success and beyond. Responsibilities of a Mathematics Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and progression Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners Assess and monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives Collaborate with colleagues and attend department and staff meetings Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and external stakeholders Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in the UK A degree in Mathematics or a related subject Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, with strong curriculum knowledge Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards A passion for mathematics education and student success Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one Why Join GSL Education?
