Job Description
Maths Teacher
First for Education is working with a secondary school in Telford to recruit a passionate teacher of Maths for a full-time role starting in September. This position will initially run until October/December, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.
About the role:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
*
Full classroom responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
*
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
*
Collaborate with a strong and experienced Maths department
*
Be part of a school with a positive learning culture and strong leadership
The ideal candidate will:
*
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Have recent UK classroom experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths
*
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management
*
Be proactive, flexible, and committed to student progress
*
Be available from September 2025 for a full-time, ongoing placement
