Role Overview:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across all Key Stages depending on experience. You will work closely with colleagues to raise attainment and foster a culture of high expectations and academic success.
Responsibilities for Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver effective maths lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
Inspire students to enjoy mathematics and achieve their full potential.
Track and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback for improvement.
Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide development initiatives.
Uphold the school’s behaviour policies and promote a positive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification is desirable.
Have experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management.
Be committed to raising standards and supporting student progress.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
