Maths Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Maths Teacher to work in an exceptional school in Hull. This position will be 3 days per week, and will involve full planning and marking, meaning payment will be between £32,916 and £45,350 per year, or £168.80 to £232.56 when scaled to a daily rate. This role is temporary, starting September 1st 2025, and lasting initially until October 24th 2025. There is strong potential for this to increase until Christmas 2025 or beyond. Working days for this role are currently Wednesday to Friday and this is unlikely to change. Increasing the role to full time with general cover on Mondays and Tuesdays is a possibility.
This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students only, and will involve full planning, marking and preparation. Staying for meetings/parents evenings will not be required for this role. The school has an exceptional Maths department with a large amount of resources on file, so the amount of planning needed should be minimal for this position. ECTs are encouraged to apply, but it is not currently possible to offer a term of ECT as the booking is not currently long enough. If it extends, then this may be a possibility.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience working within schools in the UK.
Have experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 4 students
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
