TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Chew Magna to recruit a committed Maths Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover contract starting in September 2025. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using your subject expertise and classroom presence to motivate students of varying abilities. The school offers a supportive environment with a collaborative department and a strong commitment to professional development.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
QTS with a specialism in Mathematics (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
A strong understanding of curriculum planning and classroom management
A positive and reflective teaching style with a passion for student progress
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff alike
