Position: Maths Teacher - GCSE & A Level
Location: Redditch
Salary: >£44k

Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Maths Teacher in the Redditch area on a permanent basis. The position will be working with KS3 - KS5 and the candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience working with ASC.
Job description for the Maths Teacher
* The Maths Teacher will be enabling each student to independently contribute to society, embrace lifelong learning and achieve without a ceiling.
* You will be working with a range of candidates with varying levels of qualification and must have experience in working with KS3 - KS5
* The successful candidate will be working with students with Maths related anxiety but with a gift for the subject to then achieve top grades at A Level
* The Maths Teacher must be able to build trusting relationships and provide security to vulnerable learners
Essential experience for the Maths Teacher :
* An understanding of a variety of behaviour management techniques, with a focus on resolution management followed by developmental reflection.
* Experience and passion for working outside of the conventional classroom and embracing outdoor learning,
Essential Skills for the Maths Teacher:
* Behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
* Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of learners with an ASC
Qualifications for the Maths Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary or Special Education
* First Aid
* Autism Level 1&2 preferredBefore You Apply
