We are working closely with a number of well-established secondary schools in Corby, all seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teachers to join their departments from September 2025. These schools are committed to delivering high-quality education and are looking for teachers who can engage students, build confidence in numeracy, and foster a lifelong appreciation for mathematics.
About the Role:
These are full-time, permanent teaching positions offering scope to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 available in some settings for more experienced applicants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering creative and well-structured lessons that challenge and support all learners
Using assessment and data effectively to track progress, set targets, and implement interventions
Differentiating your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEND or EAL
Promoting a positive classroom culture where students are encouraged to take risks and develop resilience
Collaborating with departmental colleagues to share resources, refine schemes of work, and contribute to curriculum development
Playing an active role in whole-school initiatives such as numeracy across the curriculum, form tutoring, and enrichment activities including clubs, competitions, and Maths weeks
What We're Looking For:
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
A strong understanding of the UK Maths curriculum and effective classroom pedagogy
A commitment to inclusion and the ability to support pupils of varying backgrounds and ability levels
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education
Strong classroom presence, behaviour management, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
A collaborative attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development
