We are working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Northampton that are seeking to appoint talented and enthusiastic Maths Teachers for September 2025. These full-time positions are available on both long-term and permanent contracts, with excellent opportunities for progression, CPD, and leadership roles.
Role Overview:
Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities in some schools
Plan and teach structured lessons that support numeracy development and problem-solving skills
Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to engage all learners and cater to different abilities
Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of a forward-thinking and inclusive Maths curriculum
Participate in enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, competitions, and revision sessions
Collaborate with a dedicated team of staff focused on continuous improvement and student success
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the Maths curriculum at secondary level
An ability to motivate and challenge students to reach their full potential
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for Maths and a commitment to raising attainment and engagement
Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular life
Open to applications from ECTs and experienced practitioners alike
