Are you a passionate Maths Teacher ready to inspire and challenge students in their mathematical journey?
GSL Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join schools in Rotherham (S60). This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers to deliver high-quality maths education and foster problem-solving skills across Key Stages.
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, encouraging critical thinking and confidence in numeracy.
Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
Deliver curriculum-aligned Maths lessons across Key Stages.
Inspire students to develop mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the Maths department’s goals.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Specialism in Maths or related discipline.
Recent teaching experience in UK schools preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
