About the Role:
Cover People are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Oldhamstarting from Monday 15th September until at least Christmas.
This is a full time temporary opportunity for a passionate and reliable educator to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Maths across KS3 & KS4 and contribute positively to the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards
Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Contribute to department planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
Support the academic and personal development of all learners
Person Specification:
Essential:
QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE Maths
Strong classroom and behaviour management
A passion for teaching and pupil progress
Right to work in the UK
