Monarch Education is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join a reputable school in the Somerset area. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator with a passion for mathematics and a commitment to student success. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, supporting their understanding of mathematical concepts, and fostering a problem-solving mindset through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS4 students, ensuring the curriculum is thoroughly covered
Differentiating teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with additional needs or varying levels of ability
Assessing student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
Developing students' problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning through practical activities, projects, and real-world applications
Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and respectful learning environment
Tracking and recording student achievement and progress in line with school policies
Contributing to department meetings and collaborative planning to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery
Supporting students' emotional and academic development, fostering confidence and independence in MathematicsCandidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome
Demonstrated ability to teach KS4 Maths effectively
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
A passion for mathematics and a genuine interest in helping pupils succeed
