Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools - Tower Hamlets
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to support students in secondary schools across Tower Hamlets from September 2025.
🧮 The Role
Support students in KS3 and KS4 maths lessons
Deliver targeted interventions and small-group tuition to boost attainment
Work closely with the maths department to help raise achievement
Assist in planning and preparing engaging resources
Provide in-class support for students with varying levels of ability, including those with additional needs
✅ What We're Looking For
A degree in maths or a related subject (or A-Level maths with relevant experience)
Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils in a school or tutoring setting
Excellent subject knowledge and a clear communication style
A proactive, patient, and supportive approach to learning
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
