Maximo Architect Location: Worthing - travel when required Contract Length: 6 months initially Daily Rate: Up to £720 inside IR35 via umbrella Conveniently located office just an 18-minute walk from Goring-by-Sea train station. Are you an experienced OAM Architect looking to make an impact? Join our client as they transform their Work and Asset Management capabilities by migrating from legacy systems to modern platforms, including IBM Maximo and ESRI ArcGIS. About the Role: As the OAM Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the Operational Asset Management delivery programme. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new capabilities on the IBM Maximo platform while ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems. Reporting to the Wholesale Domain Architect, you will work within the OAM Programme framework to help the business leverage the full potential of the new technologies. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Domain Architect to align technology roadmaps with business needs, adhering to the organisation's guidelines and standards. Take ownership of the design process, producing high-quality design documentation and managing the design through the delivery lifecycle. Serve as a trusted advisor to delivery teams and business stakeholders, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Create and present design documents, including Solution Blueprints and High-Level Designs, to architectural peers and subject matter experts. Engage with senior business stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Work alongside vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions. Essential Experience & Skills: Minimum of 5 years in architecture roles, focusing on solution architecture. At least 3 years of experience specifically in the Work and Asset Management space, either as a solution architect or a Subject Matter Expert. Proven Subject Matter Expertise with IBM Maximo. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS is a plus. Background in utility or capital-intensive industries is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of gaining acceptance for designs. Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, with a knack for managing senior-level relationships. Familiarity with architecture frameworks, standards, and methodologies. Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies in complex delivery environments.
