Expected to:
* Measure the works as they progress by taking surveys of the soil strip, cut, fill, capping, type 1, and surfacing.
* Keeping a record of the stockpiles for materials going off-site.
* Measurement of drainage works.
* Measurement of subcontract works such as drainage, fencing and kerbing.
Need to identify, capture and forecast any variation to the scope such as the soft spots or changes with CBR values.
Have an understanding of:
* Bills of Quantities
* standard methods of measurement (CESMM4)
* Groundworks/earthworks/drainage take-offs
Scope:
* Record the progress of works
* Liaise with the commercial team to
* Provide quantities that will populate the monthly interim application
* Provide quantities for certifying subbie payments
* Forecast the remaining works (BOQ quantities)
* Forecast remaining materials (if you want to pass that to someone)
