Mechanic
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Busy Multi-Brand Workshop
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Saturdays: 1 in 3 rota, 8:00am - 12:00pm
The Opportunity
A busy and well-established multi-brand service centre is looking to expand its technical team. If you enjoy working across a wide range of makes and models and thrive in a diagnostic-heavy role, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a progressive workshop environment.
With access to manufacturer-led training, including EV and MOT certifications, this role offers both technical variety and genuine career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Diagnosing and repairing complex faults across various vehicle brands
Completing job cards, health checks and all required documentation accurately
Working as part of a collaborative workshop team
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent - essential
MOT licence - preferred
Confident diagnosing across multiple brands (Bosch, Japanese, French, etc.)
Previous main dealer experience - preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Team-focused with strong communication and customer service ability
Capable of working independently and unsupervised
