Mechanic
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 + £12,000 Bonus (OTE £52,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (with 1-hour unpaid lunch), plus Saturday mornings on a 1 in 4 rotational basis
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Multi-brand busy workshop
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Vehicle Technician to join a dynamic, multi-brand workshop team. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards across a range of brands. This role offers exciting progression opportunities supported by manufacturer training, including EV and MOT courses.
What We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair (or equivalent) - essential
MOT licence - preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience working in a busy workshop environment, ideally with main dealer exposure
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills with a team-focused, customer-centric attitude
Ability to accurately complete vehicle health checks (VHC) and use online systems
Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently when required
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair non-routine faults efficiently and accurately
Complete job cards and documentation accurately
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop operation
