Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are recruiting for a skilled and customer-focused Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our client’s site in Bedford. The role will involve general vehicle servicing and routine maintenance, with no heavy mechanical work required.
As this is a customer-facing position, you will be expected to communicate effectively with customers, provide honest advice, and upsell additional services or repairs where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine vehicle servicing and light repairs
*
Diagnose and resolve minor faults efficiently
*
Provide clear explanations of vehicle issues to customers
*
Upsell services and repairs in a professional and customer-focused way
*
Ensure all work meets high safety and quality standards
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
*
Strong communication and customer service skills
*
Confidence in upselling and building customer trust
*
NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable
*
Full UK Driving Licence preferred
