MOT Tester/ Technician
Monday to Friday
08:00-17:30
Up to £36,000 a year DOE
Are you a skilled MOT Tester/ Technician with a passion for cars and looking for a new challenge?
Due to growth, our client is looking for a MOT Tester/technician to join their family run business based in Daventry.
You will be a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester who takes pride in their work and is confident speaking to customers. In this role you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests, ensuring all vehicles meet road safety standards through a thorough inspection, assessment and adhering to the DVSA regulations. You will also be required to complete vehicle repairs and services alongside general housekeeping of the workshop / premises.
As a family run business our client isn’t looking for someone to come and complete KPI’s or hit daily or monthly bonuses, they are looking for an individual who would like to come and join a stress-free environment and become part of the family.
Hours and pay are negotiable and happy to discuss.
What We’re Looking For?
* Previous experience as MOT Tester
* Previous experience as Technician
* Valid MOT Test Licence
* Completed Annual assessment
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively
* Full UK Driving Licence – Clean licence preferred
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work Independently and as a Team
* The ability to communicate with customers
Your Role:
* Conduct MOT Test adhering to the DSVA Regulation
* Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
