Mechanical Assembler / Fitter - Temp to Perm opportunity with an immediate start
Corby | £14.00 -£15.00 per hour | Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30, Fri 7:30-12:30 with plenty of overtime available. Permanent position for the right candidate

The Role
To carry out heavy assembly work - sometimes in confined spaces
Use a variety of hand and power tools to meet production deadlines
Check quality at every stage, raising any issues before products move forward
Complete all relevant paperwork & inspection records
Keep your work area safe, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards Experience and Skills
Have previously worked as a mechanical assembler or mechanical fitter
Be able to read from diagrams and drawings.
Positive, proactive, and comfortable working to schedules
Be mechanically minded
Passionate about producing top-quality work
Reliable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills
Experience with hand & power tools is essential
Have a genuine interest in mechanical engineering
