Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high-tech manufacturing business is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its cleanroom team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling precision UHV systems, offering the chance to work with advanced technology in a specialist environment.
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Lower Dicker, UK (On-site)
Full-Time | Permanent
Essential Requirements:
  * 
    Experience in a manufacturing or engineering assembly environment
  * 
    Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions
  * 
    Understanding of mechanical assembly and basic electrical work
  * 
    Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  * 
    Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  * 
    Basic IT skills (MS Office)
Desirable:
  * 
    Experience in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments
  * 
    Knowledge of UHV systems, electron or ion optics
  * 
    Experience in low-volume, high-spec product manufacturing
  * 
    Exposure to precision hand fitting, wiring, and testing processes
Qualifications:
  * 
    Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  * 
    HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable)
  * 
    Apprenticeship or time-served background considered
