The Role
As the Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of the mechanical packages, ensuring all works are carried out safely, to specification, on programme, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the installation of mechanical systems on site

Coordinate subcontractors and ensure alignment with programme milestones

Liaise with design teams, consultants, and the wider construction team

Ensure health and safety compliance across all mechanical activities
*
Monitor progress and quality, resolving any on-site issues promptly

Assist with commissioning and handover processes
Candidate Profile:
*
Proven experience in a Mechanical Construction Manager or Supervisory role
*
Background working on large-scale building projects with Tier 1 contractors or leading M&E subcontractors
*
Experience in highly serviced environments such as life sciences, healthcare, or data centres is desirable
*
Strong technical understanding of HVAC, BMS, and public health systems
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant mechanical/building services qualifications
