Mechanical Craftsman
London (Commercial Buildings) | Full-Time | No On-Call | Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Craftsman to join our maintenance team supporting commercial buildings across London. This is a day-shift only position with no on-call requirement, ideal for someone seeking stability, work-life balance, and pride in delivering high-quality mechanical work in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and small works on commercial HVAC, pumps, pipework, and plant systems
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to mechanical breakdowns
* Work from technical drawings and maintenance schedules
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations
* Liaise with site teams and other trades to ensure smooth operations across sites
Requirements:
* Mechanical trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience working in commercial buildings or facilities maintenance
* Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing systems, and building services
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of work
