Overview
You’ll design, develop, and validate mechanical components and assemblies for advanced systems (e.g. avionics, radar, naval, or secure communications). The work is detail-heavy, safety-critical, and tightly controlled by standards.
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Creo
Design for:
manufacturability (DFM)
assembly (DFA)
environmental constraints (shock, vibration, thermal)
Produce full engineering documentation:
drawings
tolerances (GD&T)
BOMs
Perform design analysis:
tolerance stack-ups
basic stress/thermal considerations
Work with:
systems engineers
electronics teams (packaging PCBs/enclosures)
manufacturing and suppliers
Support prototype builds and testing
